We arrived last night in the home state of our soon to be daughter-in-law. It was a long and enjoyable ride. I did something that I haven't done since I was a little girl. After waking up from a short nap, I continued to rest and noticed the clouds moving. I know it sounds a little boring, but I really enjoyed it. The sky was a clear blue and the clouds were a brilliant white. I watched them change shape and move on off across the sky. There was something peaceful about it. I need to take the time to do that more often.
Also, I noticed the Big Dipper just as clear as a bell when I looked out much later. I used to love finding the different constellations. It was a beautiful reminder of our wonderful universe that our God created.
It will be a busy evening tonight and a busier tomorrow. I'm looking forward to this special occasion. I will try to get a few pictures to share.
