Such Diversity

Yesterday, the sun was warm and bright like a summer afternoon in May. The gentle breeze was cool and blowing my hair in all directions. There were a few birds singing around the birdhouse in the backyard. The sky was blue and cloudless, making me look forward to the spring season ahead.

Today, there is no sunshine, only drizzling rain. It is gray outside with no sweet breezes. There are no bird sounds in the yard.

Tomorrow, the forecast is of snow-the white stuff we all look forward to in the midst of all this grayness. The possibility of having no school is always great when the first flake is spotted. Getting snowed-in alters our plans for the potential of getting more accomplished at home. I'm just like a child-watching the forecast and hoping our school is among the others listed as closed.
