It has been a while

I just noticed that it has been about three weeks since my last post. I think I have lost the love of writing. It comes as no surprise to me. I am taking an expository writing class that is required to get an accounting degree. I hate having to write for a grade. It makes me second guess my posts.

Anyway, we have a beach condo for sell. According to the realtor, a prospective buyer needs 30% for their down payment for a condo. I'm not sure in this economic time that anyone has that amount of money just laying around. And, if they did, they should just upgrade to an ocean front palace. All that to say-we are in the midst of updating the condo on a small budget. It is requiring many trips to the coast, as much as twice a week. According to the husband, we are about 75% finished with what we are going to do. If it does not sell, then at least it will look good for the rental season. It is very hard to fit these trips in to an already packed schedule. I am planning on going for the day tomorrow to take some kitchen chairs and shop for pictures to go in the living room.

Also, I need to come up with a definition essay. I have a hard time deciding what my topic should be. If you have any idea, please leave them in the comments section. You know you have reached a point of hatred when in your mind you hear yourself say, "I don't know why I'm taking this ridiculous class; I'll never need it!" I remember saying that as a junior high student about algebra. My children have said it me when we home schooled. My response has been, "Well, you never know when you may be in a position that you will need it." It is so true. I needed it to teach my children, when we home schooled. And the reverse situation is true also. If I had not had the privilege to home school, I would not be up on adverb clauses, noun clauses, adjective clauses, and verbals. EXHAUSTING!

In addition to all this rambling, my blood tests came back. I am borderline anemic. That explains why I have been dragging myself around. The doctor suggested taking a multivitamin supplement to up my iron intake. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will feel a difference. I am almost excited about it!

I am leaving you with a picture of our beach. I love this picture. It is my screen saver for now. Going to the beach brings a calm to me in my rushed world. So, in between my unloading the van and shopping, I will go out and look at the ocean for a while. This is my view from our walking deck.
